"Tell Me" was the featured single for Broderick Jones' appearance on NBC's "American Song Contest" in March 2022. As the representative artist from Kansas, Broderick advanced in the competition until his elimination in the semifinals. "Tell Me" marked the inaugural collaboration between Calio and Broderick in the studio and was released by Atlantic Records in conjunction with the ASC performance.
